We carve unique and personalised Maori design 21st  Keys

The following pictures show examples of taonga we have created in the past.  THESE ARE SOLD AND ARE BEING SHOWN AS EXAMPLES ONLY.

As you can see 21st 'keys' are not always keys.  We have made treasure boxes, paddles, tewhatewha, toki...After discussing your whakapapa and the interests and aspirations of your loved one we come up with a design that reflects the recipient.

We use native wood and often incorporate pounamu, feathers, cordage - whatever is appropriate or requested.

Picture 3 shows a Carved Maori Design in Kauri Wood with Pounamu (mother) and Black Pearl (Father) eyes.  This intricately carved 21st Key depicts a Father protecting the Mother in an embrace which also creates the number 2.  There is also a double manaia.
