Pounamu Replica Sharks Tooth Necklace with Muka Cordage

This stunning necklace has 3 carved Pounamu (New Zealand Jade or greenstone) pieces shaped into replica sharks teeth.  The cordage is made from hand made, woven and dyed flax fibre, known as muka.  This is extremely hard-wearing and will continue to soften with wearing.

Sharks Tooth necklaces were highly prized and a mark of a chief for pre-European Maori.
