Returns policy

  • If you buy something from us and decide you do not want it, we are happy to accept returns within 14 days of the date when we sent the goods, with a full refund, as long as the goods are undamaged.  Postage costs and proper packaging will be your responsibility.
  • Refunds will not be given if the goods have been damaged by you, this includes damage caused by inadequate packaging by you when returning goods.
  • If you buy something and there is a fault with it due to the construction of the goods that occurs within a reasonable time frame, we will happily repair it at no cost.  We do not take responsibility for goods that have been accidentally damaged.

Postage Costs

Postage costs and packaging for all goods or overall orders over NZ$150 is FREE within New Zealand.

Shipping costs and packaging for all goods or overall orders under NZ$150 is NZ$5.

For all goods being purchased from overseas, you can either email us with your enquiry or our on-line payment system will generate an order which allows us to add the postage costs for you.

We can also provide you with a range of different postage options and costs.

Buying and Paying

Our on-line payment system generates a proforma order which you will receive automatically. We will then manually send you an invoice with payment options (including directly crediting our account) or a ‘Paypal’ payment request which allows you to pay by credit card.

As well as ordering online you can also call us on +649 404 1321 (within New Zealand working hours) for personal service or email info@newzealandmaoriart.co.nz.  Or of course come into our shop in Kawakawa in the Bay of Islands.

Goods will only be shipped once full payment has been received.

We are not responsible for any import duties and taxes which are levied within your country.  However most gift items do not incur such levies.

GST Free Shopping – all our prices include gst.  However if you are purchasing our goods from overseas and the goods are leaving New Zealand you may be eligible to receive a GST exemption, which amounts to a 12.5% discount.  This could more than cover your postage and packing costs!

Privacy

The information we receive from you will only be used to process your order but we will also ask you after the transaction if we can add you to our emailing list.  This information will not be sold or given to third parties
